Scenario of Government Engineering College in India Empty Scenario of Government Engineering College in India

Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:25 pm
Students don't like government engineering colleges, they prefer good government colleges.

If someone feels that any government college is fine, then they're wrong. Some colleges are only there to give you a piece of paper called 'degree' and the same goes for private colleges, the only distinction is that the number of private colleges is greater than that of government. Every state has some good engineering colleges, I am not Talking about IITs, they are in another league. Other than that, the government engineering college in Gujarat is also good, not only that you might hear of COE Pune, among the top engineering colleges in India.

Here are some of the names of private colleges that are BITS Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, BIT Mesra, RV engineering college, DAIICT, VIT, IIIT Bangalore, and the mythical 'GOD OF CSE' IIIT Hyderabad.

And some other private colleges beat your local government colleges including MS Ramaiah, LNMIIT, MIT, SRM, Nirma University, KIIT, BMS engineering college, Sastra University, PGS engineering college, SSN, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, JIIT sector-62.
If you feel any questions about Google's placements, infra, faculty, and services.

Why Government college
1. Low fees as compared to private
2. Huge campus with cheap hostel and canteen
3. Fully loaded laboratories
4. Highly experienced & stable/permanent professors
5. Easily accessible ( mostly in the heart of the city)
6. Limited seats, (competition begins..)
7. Top students selected by a national level entrance

Why not private colleges
1. High fees (excluding hidden charges)
2. Cheap faculty members (mostly fresher's, who came just to gain some experience, leaves in 1–2 yrs mostly)

The reality is beyond this comparison

Some private colleges are very fine... they have a good infrastructure, great faculty members, good placements, tight rules, and regulations, etc.

But others still are down to earth colleges where the laboratories are only for the name, and students are still busy at the nearby cigarette stalls. About 80–90 percent of all students (both boys and girls) smoke addicted in Noida. Not only cigarettes, but weeds are also very common.
